Death Deferred: The chart of Timothy McVeigh Death Deferred: The chart of Timothy McVeigh! -- It's impossible to tell from a birth chart how a person will use the potential shown in their chart patterns. The soul's own prompting as well as the influences of family and environment equally play a role. Timothy McVeigh is a Taurus with Mercury and Mars in Taurus. Taurus is typically gentle, ruled by Venus but strong and determined and undeterred once it has chosen a course of action -- accentuated with McVeigh's Mars (action) also positioned there. McVeigh's Venus -- telling us more about his Taurus planets -- is in Aries and conjoined with Saturn in Aries (Aries normally ruled by Mars). This combination brings a fiery energy to the Taurus personality, and Saturn contributes quite a bit of frustration around getting what he wants or his desire to be recognized. Saturn, a strong developmental point in the chart -- indicates lessons regarding action taken and struggles with identity. It also shows a person who plans methodically. The interplay between Mars and Saturn in McVeigh's chart can add a coldness, cruelty and/or compartmentalization. His Moon in idealistic Pisces and his Mars in Taurus both make strong aspects to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto -- the generational and culturally transforming energies. Additionally his Mars makes a strong 90 deg. angle to Jupiter in Leo indicating along with fiery Aries planets, his need to be seen, be on stage, do things in a big way.
